In the middle of a hot season such as summer, you might crave the sweet, cold treats that will cool down your body and provide some comfort. It could not be easier to satisfy these cravings and continue to optimize your health with the help of some creative recipes using collagen protein.

Collagen is the “glue” that holds your body together. It’s found in your organs, muscles, skin, hair, nails, teeth, bones, blood vessels, tendons, joints, cartilage and digestive system. That’s a lot!

In addition to repairing a leaky gut and supporting healthy hair, skin, and nails, this essential protein assists in forming muscles, balancing blood pressure, supporting bone growth and repair, and improving detoxification and liver function.

I use The Myers Way® Collagen Protein every day in a variety of drink recipes. You can always enjoy a delicious collagen smoothie recipe on the daily — I even included one here. Yet collagen protein powder is also an excellent ingredient to use in other summer recipes from mocktails to popsicles. A summer collagen dessert recipe may be just what you need to get through the hotter months.

So I’ve rounded up some of my favorite collagen protein recipes that you can enjoy and provide your body with the much-needed summer love it deserves!
