Dr. Anna Cabeca is a board certified Gynecologist and Obstetrician, as well as board certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, an expert in Functional Medicine, and an expert in women’s health. She specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and natural alternatives, successful menopause and age management medicine. Dr. Cabeca earned her medical degree from Nova-Southeastern University of the Health Sciences in Florida. Since completing her residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, she has maintained a private practice in Southeast Georgia.

Her belief is that the advantages of creating health and hormone balance are that we not only improve our own health, but also improve the health of our generations to follow.

  1. How did you get started on your path to integrative and functional medicine?
  2. I am seeing a LOT of young women who are not having periods.  When you hear this what are some things that you think about and what kind of workup should the MD do and natural suggestions to solving this?
  3. I also see a lot of PCOS – besides the diet and fixing your gut what advice do you have for these people?  Supplements?
  4. Low libido is another big complaint – causes and natural solutions?  Low T in men?
