Easy Slow-Cooked Organic Pork Ribs

I was excited to find organic pork ribs at Whole Foods over the weekend.  If you’re looking for some BBQ sauce that is approved on TMW, check out this great recipe for Nightshade-Free Cherry BBQ Sauce from Mickey Trescott.

Easy Slow-Cooked Organic Pork Ribs

  • 2 lbs bone-in pork ribs
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 2 yellow onions roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup bone broth
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

  1. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and cinnamon on meaty side of pork ribs and set aside.
  2. Cover bottom of slow cooker with oil, yellow onions, and garlic.
  3. Place ribs on top, meaty side down. Drizzle bone broth and apple cider vinegar over ribs.
  4. Let cook on low for 8 hours.
