While we were grilling over the weekend, I experimented with this Basil and Arugula Salad. It’s packed with the fresh boldness of basil and arugula! I’d say it’s the perfect way to mix up your salad with delicious flavors and textures to fully round out a nutritious meal!
Basil and Arugula Salad with Avocado

Ingredients
- 15 basil leaves approximately 1/3 cup, thinly sliced
- 1 cup 240.00 ml arugula thinly sliced
- 1 avocado cubed or sliced
- 1/4 cucumber cubed or sliced
- lemon juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 tsp 2.46 ml sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Toss salad ingredients together and serve fresh or chilled.
