I am curious about the lemon. It is acidic, and ICers cannot use lemon. Do you know what would be good for ginger tea that didn’t add acid? I guess that I assumed the lemon caused inflammation, but, maybe it is ONLY for ICers. (intercystal Cystitis – a painful bladder disease)
I have been making a tea with grated ginger root, turmeric (either grated root if you can get it or 1 teaspoon of powder) and lemon juice every morning – and it helps with all sorts of ailments. I would not want to live without it ever again! Greatest Anti-Inflamatory drink anyone can imagine!
I thought the ginger had to be cooked in the hot water? You just add it afterwards?
Yep! You just steep it with the hot water.
My friend has told me about ginger root tea again and again, trying to get me to try it. I guess it’s about time I give it a shot!
