Dr. Amy Myers in the Kitchen at the South Austin Headquarters of AMMD with new supplement packaging.

Why I Made This

“Acetyl-Glutathione comes in the most bioavailable form available on the market. The acetylation process and micro-cluster molecular structure ensure that it won’t break down before your body has a chance to absorb it, and that it is in the right form to actually be absorbed."†

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get glutathione from food?

Glutathione is very difficult to get from your diet. While trace amounts can be found in foods such as raw red meat, raw dairy products, and a few nuts and vegetables, the amounts are minute and studies have shown that cooking these foods reduces their glutathione levels by up to 100%. Appropriate supplementation or an IV administered by a doctor remains the best way to boost glutathione levels.

Why is there such a price difference in glutathione supplements on the market?

Countless studies have shown that if glutathione is not in the right form, and the correct molecular structure, it oxidizes and breaks down before it ever even has a chance to absorb. The highest quality glutathione supplements on the market are more expensive to produce as they are acetylated, micro-clustered, and specially formulated to ensure viable delivery and optimal absorption.

Is Acetyl-Glutathione safe for children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers?

We always recommend working with a qualified healthcare provider so that they can take your other supplements, medications, and health history into account when deciding if Acetyl-Glutathione is right for you or your children.
