Most people take Candifense® while they follow a specialized gut balance protocol, which generally lasts for 1-3 months. While many people take Candifense® for longer periods of time, or even indefinitely, we always advise you to speak with your healthcare provider to help you make that decision so that your specific scenario and health history can all be taken into account.

We always recommend working with your child’s pediatrician or other qualified healthcare provider before deciding to use Candifense®. For breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women, we do not generally recommend detoxing or following intense protocols in these cases, and again recommend working with your doctor, midwife, or other qualified healthcare provider before making the decision to include Candifense® in any supplement protocol while expecting or nursing.

We suggest Candifense® be taken twice daily. Two capsules each time, for a grand total of four capsules a day. Candifense® works best when taken on an empty stomach so the enzymes do not act upon the contents of the stomach and instead reach the small and large intestine where they can support gut balance.†
