Ginger Garlic Asparagus




  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 Tbsp animal fat or coconut oil
  • 1 inch ginger peeled and minced
  • 3 cloves garlic peeled and smashed
  • juice from 1/4 lemon


  1. Wash asparagus and cut off the woody ends to discard. Cut stalks into 1-2 inch segments.
  2. In a pan, heat coconut oil over medium heat. Add minced ginger, garlic cloves, and asparagus segments.
  3. After 1 minute, squeeze lemon juice over asparagus. Cook for a couple more minutes until soft and enjoy.
