Bone broth isn’t something you have to be sipping out of cups all by itself (though you certainly can do that — it’s super healthy!). It’s also a great tool for adding flavor to meals with sauces and gravies.
This is an easy-to-make bone broth gravy that still has all of the gut-healing collagen for fixing a leaky gut, plus antioxidants of various spices! It’s a great way to get bone broth in your diet!
Melt fat in a medium sauce pan and add spices to toast (approximately 1-2 minutes), stirring frequently.
Once the spices have toasted and are fragrant, add the tapioca starch and whisk well to combine and remove lumps.
Add the bone broth and bring to a simmer, whisking constantly until it thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste. If you prefer your gravy thicker, combine another 1-2 tbsp starch in ¼ cold water and whisk, then pour into gravy mixture and stir well to thicken further.
Place atop your favorite proteins like roasted chicken or turkey, or a grain-free biscuit.
