Bone broth isn’t something you have to be sipping out of cups all by itself (though you certainly can do that — it’s super healthy!). It’s also a great tool for adding flavor to meals with sauces and gravies.

This is an easy-to-make bone broth gravy that still has all of the gut-healing collagen for fixing a leaky gut, plus antioxidants of various spices! It’s a great way to get bone broth in your diet!

The Myers Way® Bone Broth Gravy

  • 2 tbsp bacon grease or lard
  • 2 tbsp tapioca starch add more if you want your gravy thicker
  • 1 pint bone broth
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried ground thyme
  • 1/8 tsp ground sage
  • sea salt and white pepper to taste

  1. Melt fat in a medium sauce pan and add spices to toast (approximately 1-2 minutes), stirring frequently.
  2. Once the spices have toasted and are fragrant, add the tapioca starch and whisk well to combine and remove lumps.
  3. Add the bone broth and bring to a simmer, whisking constantly until it thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste. If you prefer your gravy thicker, combine another 1-2 tbsp starch in ¼ cold water and whisk, then pour into gravy mixture and stir well to thicken further.
  4. Place atop your favorite proteins like roasted chicken or turkey, or a grain-free biscuit.
