  • 1 1/2 360 cups mL walnuts
  • 30 dates pitted
  • 3/4 180 cups mL canned pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 7.3935 tsp mL pumpkin pie spice
To make your own Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1/4 1.23225 tsp mL ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 1.23225 tsp mL ground ginger or ⅛ tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1/8 0.616125 tsp mL ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 0.616125 tsp mL ground cloves
Icing
  • 1/2 120 cups mL cocoa powder
  • 1 avocado
  • 3/4 180 cups mL honey
  • 1 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a food processor combine walnuts, dates, pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice and pulse until it forms a ball.
  2. Scrape out and press into glass dish.
  3. Add cocoa powder, avocado, honey, and sea salt to food processor and mix on high until smooth.
  4. Scrape out icing and spread on top on pumpkin brownies.
