6apples, or a combination of apples and pearssliced
1/2cuppumpkin pureecanned or fresh
1/2cupunsweetened milk substitute
1/2cuppecans or walnutschopped
1Tbspvanilla extract
2tspcinnamon
1tspnutmeg
1/8tspsea salt
Instructions
Put the sliced apples in the crockpot.
In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, milk substitute, nuts, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and sea salt. Mix together and spread over the apples in the crockpot.
Cook on high for 3 hours. Once it is done cooking, let cool for 20 minutes and blend in a food processor or blender so it becomes a smooth consistency.
