WHO WE ARE
Amy Myers MD® was founded by Dr. Amy Myers, a two-time New York Times bestselling author and functional medicine physician.
Dr. Myers first served in Austin, Texas as an emergency physician at both Dell Children's Hospital and the University Medical Center Brackenridge from 2008-2010. She then went on to open a private clinic, Austin UltraHealth, with the goal of helping patients achieve their long-term health goals. It was there that Dr. Myers was able to pursue her passion for functional medicine, becoming a certified functional medicine physician in 2012.
Many other supplement brands are run by fly-by-night operations looking to turn a quick buck with inconsistent or inadequate ingredients.
Not so with Amy Myers MD® — it's one of the only health and wellness brands owned and operated by a real medical doctor who puts the consumer's health first and always above profits.
Because Dr. Myers is a licensed physician, the supplements we carry are pharmaceutical grade, meaning they are higher quality than you've come to expect from a health food store or online retailer.
This is vital because our supplements are designed for optimal recommendations instead of recommended daily allowances which most other supplements stop at. This is because recommended daily allowances only meet your minimum requirements and fall short of what you need for optimal health.

A TRACK RECORD OF PROVEN SUCCESS
A 2011 report by Health Fairs Direct which analyzed over 50 studies related to corporate and employee wellness, showed that the return on investment (ROI) on specific wellness related programs ranged between $1.17 to $6.04.
In general, it is estimated that worksite health promotion programs result in a benefit-to-cost ratio of $3.48 in reduced health care costs and $5.82 in lower absenteeism costs per dollar invested, according to the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.
Additionally, worksite health programs can improve productivity, increase employee satisfaction, demonstrate concern for employees, and improve morale in the workplace.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention conducted a case study of a workplace wellness program at Capital Metro, the local transit authority in Austin, TX. The study found that there was a reduction in costs associated with employee health care and absenteeism after the workplace welfare program was implemented.
Worksite health programs can improve productivity, increase employee satisfaction, demonstrate concern for employees, and improve morale in the workplace.
WELLNESS SPOTLIGHT
Johnson & Johnson, one of the world's largest companies, has saved $250 million on health care costs within the last decade as a result of wellness programs; from 2002 to 2008, the return was $2.71 for every dollar spent.
In one large study of 1,542 participants across 119 workplaces, 57.7% showed significant reductions in 7 of the 10 cardiovascular health risk categories studied.
