Is The Myers Way® SIBO Breakthrough® Program appropriate for pregnant women or nursing mothers?

Because of the inclusion of Microb-Clear®, a potent supplement that helps your body prune back the overgrown microflora, it’s best to wait until after pregnancy and nursing before considering taking part in the SIBO Breakthrough® Program.

Is The Myers Way® SIBO Breakthrough® Program appropriate for children?

While there are no specific contraindications with children following the Program diet or taking the supplements included in the SIBO Breakthrough® Program, I highly encourage you to speak with your child’s healthcare provider before taking the supplements, starting the diet, or beginning the Program.

Can Microb-Clear® be taken by those with a diagnosed nut allergy?

My Microb-Clear® formula contains an extract from black walnut hulls. While the extract used is harvested from the hull (shell) of the nut, due to the nature of the extraction process itself, there is no way to know with certainty that the extract is 100% free of the actual allergenic protein in walnuts. While it’s very unlikely that the extract does contain allergenic components of walnut, I urge you to err on the side of caution. I recommend clients with nut allergies not take this product before getting approval from their doctors or allergists.

How do I get the SIBO supplements without ordering the program?

Can I take Paleo Protein if I’m allergic to tree nuts?

My Paleo Protein contains MCT oil derived from coconuts. Scientifically speaking coconuts are not tree nuts, they are in fact fruits classified as a “drupe.” Other drupes include palm fruit, peaches, berries, plums, and apricots. However, because the FDA has lumped coconuts in a group with other tree nuts for labeling purposes, etc., I am required to list them as a potential allergen. In fact, true coconut allergy is actually extremely rare with only a few cases reported in the medical literature. If you have a diagnosed tree nut allergy, please speak with your healthcare provider before consuming any products containing coconut.
