Cilantro Ginger Organic Pork Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
- 1 lb 454.00 g ground pork organic
- 1 tbsp 14.79 ml coconut oil
- 1/2 red onion minced
- 1 inch 2.54 cm ginger root peeled and minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 stalks celery finely sliced
- 2 carrots peeled and finely sliced
- 1/2 tsp 2.46 ml ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp 1.23 ml ground turmeric
- 3 tbsp 44.36 ml lemon juice fresh, from 1 lemon
- 1 apple small, chopped
- 1 tbsp 14.79 ml Coconut aminos (avoid on the Candida protocol)
- 1/2 cup 120.00 ml cilantro chopped
- 1/4 cup 60.00 ml fresh basil chopped
- 1/4 cup 60.00 ml fresh mint chopped
- 8 lettuce leaves washed
Instructions
- Heat coconut oil in large pan over medium heat. Add onions and let cook for 2-3 minutes. Add ginger and garlic, stirring frequently.
- Add celery and carrots. Let cook for 3 minutes.
- Then add ginger powder, turmeric, lemon juice, apple and ground pork. Let cook for 5 minutes then add coconut aminos, cilantro, basil, mint. Stir well.
- When pork is fully cooked, remove from heat. Divide into lettuce leaves and serve.
