Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to take digestive enzymes?

We recommend taking digestive enzymes a few minutes or immediately before a meal. This allows the various strains of enzymes a moment to mix with gastric juices and activate so they can best assist with the breakdown of foods. Taking them in the middle of or after a meal will still offer great digestive benefits.

Is it safe for children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers to take Complete Enzymes?

Provided you are not allergic to any of the ingredients in Complete Enzymes, on any prescribed medications that could be contraindicated, or have been advised by your physician not to take digestive enzymes for any reason, then Complete Enzymes are safe to use in doses recommended on the product label. If you have any concerns whatsoever, we always recommend speaking with your physician or other qualified health care provider.

How long should I take Complete Enzymes?

While we recommend that some take Complete Enzymes before every meal to assist their body’s digestive and absorptive efforts, as well as to support healthy immune function, some may not feel they need it as often, or perhaps only with larger meals. It’s entirely up to your own unique lifestyle and goals.†

    Complete Enzymes

My husband has been having a stomach problem for the past 3 years and he is only able to eat a small amount of food at a time with lots of bloating, which bothers his breathing. Dr. Amy Myers put an article out on Facebook about bloating after you eat very little . I printed it off for my husband to read, he said after he read the article 'Someone understands me" So I order the "Complete Enzymes and within a few days of start the caps he was feeling better and I'm so thankful . Thank you, Dr. Amy Myes. L. Harbison

Egg allergy warning - not clearly stated online

Sadly I am allergic to all gluten cross reactive foods, egg being one. “Contains egg” is not written on the website, but you can read it in the fine print of the picture of the bottle under * Other Enzymes: Lysozyme (from egg white) 10,000 SU***. I took one before double checking the bottle. I will recover from this major set back. It is dissappointing from an expert in gut healing and Autoimmune disease!
