  • 1/2 lime sliced into wedges
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp tapioca starch
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp grated horseradish or more to taste
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt or more to taste
Cilantro Chimichurri
  • 1/4 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 scoop Prebiotic Fiber Complete™
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small shallots diced
  • 1/2 cups cilantro leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups parsley leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel or a clean kitchen towel. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with the grated garlic and salt, and mix well, making sure the shrimp is well seasoned. Add the tapioca starch and toss to coat the shrimp completely.
  2. Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet. Carefully place the shrimp in the hot oil and cook over high heat for 2 minutes per side, or until the shrimp is fully cooked. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk until all the lumps from the tapioca starch are gone. Taste the sauce, and add more grated horseradish if you want more spice. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring frequently, then reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Toss the shrimp with the bang bang shrimp sauce, garnish with diced scallions, and serve warm with additional lime wedges.
Cilantro Chimichurri
  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and pulse lightly just until the herbs chop into very fine pieces.
  2. Drizzle over shrimp or use as a dipping sauce
