How To Make Kiwi Sorbet

Ingredients to make Kiwi Sorbet - AMMD™

To make your Kiwi Sorbet, begin by peeling and slicing the kiwis, then laying them flat on a tray to freeze for about one hour.

Once frozen, transfer the kiwi slices to a food processor.

Add Leaky Gut Revive®, stevia, lime juice, and coconut cream. Blend everything together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This should take about two minutes.

You can serve the sorbet immediately in your favorite dish, topped with a sprig of fresh mint for a refreshing finish.

Frozen Kiwi Sorbet - AMMD™

If you prefer to enjoy it later, pour the mixture into a shallow container, cover it, and freeze until ready to serve. When you're ready to enjoy, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly before scooping.

Ingredients

  • 8 kiwis, peeled, sliced and frozen
  • 2 scoops Leaky Gut Revive®
  • ½ tsp stevia 
  • 1/4 cup lime juice 
  • 4 tbsp coconut cream
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Directions

  1. Peel and slice kiwis and place flat on a tray. Freeze for 1 hour.  
  2. Once frozen, add to a food processor with Amy Myers Leaky Gut Revive, stevia, lime juice, and coconut cream. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Serve immediately in your favourite ice cream dish and top with a sprig of mint.
  4. Alternatively you can pour the kiwi sorbet into a shallow container, cover and freeze to serve later.
  5. Enjoy! 

Pro Tip:  

  1. You can add mint, basil or rosemary in while blending to change up the flavours.
  2. If your kiwi’s are over ripe, you do not need to add in any sweetener.
