Beef liver is delicious, nutritious, and you’re using more parts of the animal so that nothing goes to waste.

This simple recipe seasons beef liver to perfection! You can really use whatever seasonings you desire, whether that be rosemary, parsley, or even just a simple cracked pepper and sea salt rub. Make sure the liver is organic, to optimize your health in as many ways as possible.

Now for the long-awaited liver recipe! Don’t worry about toxins–the liver doesn’t store them, it works hard to help your body process them. In fact, liver is very high in fat-soluble vitamins, iron, and B vitamins.

Organic Beef Liver with Bacon and Rosemary

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces beef liver
  • 10 slices nitrate-free bacon
  • 2 tsp rosemary

Instructions

  1. Heat iron skillet over medium heat. Add five pieces of bacon to bottom.
  2. Top with liver and cover liver with remaining five pieces of bacon.
  3. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon rosemary on top. Let cook for about 5 minutes, then flip.
  4. Add remaining rosemary and let cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Flip again and let cook for another 1-3 minutes until liver is cooked through. Serve hot.
