Avocado Pudding - AMMD™

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this creamy avocado pudding. This dye-free pudding recipe features coconut sugar, lime, and gut-supporting Leaky Gut Revive® for a nourishing dessert.

St. Patrick’s Day often brings bright green desserts filled with artificial colors and refined sugar. This year, try a better option. My Avocado Pudding recipe delivers a naturally vibrant green color with ingredients that support overall wellness.

This creamy dessert is smooth, refreshing, and naturally sweet. It also aligns with an autoimmune-friendly approach to eating. Avocado, lime, coconut milk, and coconut sugar create a nourishing green pudding without artificial dyes. Each ingredient provides nutrients that support digestion, immune health, and balanced energy.

This recipe also includes a scoop of Leaky Gut Revive® to support gut health. If you are working to heal your gut, it’s important to choose foods that nourish the digestive lining. Adding a clean supplement powder to a simple dessert like this one offers an easy way to support that goal.

Whether you are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day or searching for a simple dye-free pudding, this recipe delivers both flavor and nourishment.

Dye-Free Pudding

Artificial dyes are common in traditional puddings and desserts, especially to achieve a green pudding. I always recommend avoiding synthetic food colors when following an AIP diet. To create the natural color, I use avocados instead. Avocado provides a green hue while delivering important nutrients.

If you are following The Myers Way® approach or AIP diet, avocado offers a nutrient-dense option that fits well within many wellness plans. The health benefits of avocado are impressive. Avocados contain healthy monounsaturated fats that support heart health and stable blood sugar. These fats also help the body absorb fat-soluble nutrients from other foods.

In addition, they contain fiber, which helps support digestion and encourages a balanced gut microbiome. A healthy gut plays a central role in immune health and overall wellness.

The creamy texture of avocados lends the perfect consistency. When blended with coconut milk, it produces a smooth pudding that feels rich and satisfying. There is no need for dairy, artificial thickeners, or food dyes.

Coconut Sugar vs Cane Sugar

Sweeteners often raise questions, especially if you are focused gut health and blood sugar balance. Sugar often fuels Candida overgrowth and SIBO. Understanding coconut sugar vs cane sugar can help guide better choices. Cane sugar undergoes significant processing and refining. During this process, most natural nutrients are removed. The final product delivers sweetness with little nutritional value.

Coconut sugar comes from the sap of coconut palm flowers. It undergoes minimal processing compared with refined cane sugar. This process helps retain small amounts of minerals such as potassium, iron, and zinc.

Coconut sugar also contains a small amount of inulin fiber. Inulin acts as a prebiotic that can help support beneficial gut bacteria.

Another difference between coconut sugar and cane sugar is the glycemic response. Coconut sugar generally produces a slower rise in blood sugar compared with refined cane sugar. Many individuals working to support metabolic and gut health prefer this option in moderation.

In this recipe, coconut sugar provides a gentle sweetness that complements the lime and avocado. The result is a balanced dessert that feels indulgent without relying on highly refined ingredients.

Leaky Gut Revive®

Supporting gut health often requires a combination of nutrient-dense foods and targeted supplementation. One option I recommend for restoring and repairing your gut is Leaky Gut Revive®.

This formula combines nutrients and botanicals to support the intestinal lining. These ingredients include amino acids, soothing botanicals, and supportive compounds that help maintain digestive balance.

A healthy intestinal barrier plays an important role in overall wellness. The gut lining acts as a protective interface between the digestive tract and the rest of the body. When the gut lining receives proper nutritional support, it can function more effectively.

This formula is designed to support gut health and maintain a healthy digestive environment. Adding Leaky Gut Revive® to recipes provides a convenient option for daily use. Smoothies, beverages, and creamy desserts all work well. This avocado pudding blends the powder into a smooth base so the texture remains rich and enjoyable.
